In regards to your recent review - a 1-1/4' net, in general, would be considered a slow feed. That said, some horses can be a little handier than others when it comes to getting the hay out. If your horse is clever and extra motivated, then they may work through the 1-1/4' quicker than most.
There are other haynet companies out there that make a smaller mesh size if that is what you need. Haylo's smallest available is currently the 1-1/4'.
